Lindsay Miller

Hi, I’m Lindsay. My work with Momentum centers on inclusion and equity in the context of organizational development. You will see me most often working with leadership and managerial teams, and with DEIA committees and affinity groups.

Hailing from the small town of Hood River, Oregon (land of the Wasco, Wishram, Yakama, and Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs), I am a cis/straight/white facilitator and thought partner. I value connection and growth and work to center these in my personal and professional practices.  I started my career working in early childhood education and then provided wraparound care coordination to multi-system-involved kids and families. Frustrated by public system failures, I found my way to business school and focused on social entrepreneurship - the study of applying private sector practices to drive social and environmental impact.

I’ve spent the last 15 years supporting nonprofits and foundations with strategic and business planning, organizational development, and process design and facilitation. I am committed at my core to racial justice work, and am continuously investing time and energy in my own antiracist journey. I believe that white allies have an important role to play in breaking down and rebuilding oppressive systems, in elevating the voices of impacted communities, and in bringing other white allies into this work.

I am mother to two daughters, ages 9 and 12, and I am constantly amazed by the joys and challenges of parenting. I am not religious, but find spiritual connection in the outdoors. I feel at home when walking trails, descending mountains, climbing rocks, and floating rivers.

I hold a BA in Fine Art and a BS in general sciences from the University of Oregon, and an MBA from Oxford University. My superpower is getting to the heart of the matter.
