Ashley Robinson

Hi, I'm Ashley. My work with Momentum centers around supporting organizations to envision fundraising and development through the lens of anti-racism and equity.

I am a Black woman and Baltimore native. I currently oversee overall strategy for constituency engagement and internal diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the Democratic campaign committees. I spent nearly the last ten years in the fundraising arena, most notably at progressive advocacy organizations, doing frontline fundraising with major donors, while working within these organizations and with fundraising associations to identify how to diversify philanthropy.

I obtained a masters of science at Columbia University in fundraising management and my bachelor of arts at Elon University. My superpower is my empathetic listening ear. I think holding on to human connectivity and embracing empathy is needed now more than ever. This, in combination with my passion for DEIA work drives me to work on truly imbedding the principles of equity and inclusion into organizational culture. You have to reach people in order to build community - and we need community to not only survive, but to thrive.

I enjoy all things Beyoncé.
